Society

The Department of Electronic Science has its Society named ‘SPARKS’, which serves as a
vibrant academic and technical platform aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge, skills, and
professional competence in the field of electronics and allied domains. The society actively
bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application by organizing a wide range
of curricular and co-curricular activities throughout the academic year. The society regularly
conducts workshops, seminars, conferences and technical talks by eminent academicians,
industry experts, and researchers, enabling students to stay updated with emerging trends and
advancements in the arena of electronics. Moreover, Industrial visits are also organized to
provide hands-on exposure to real-world industrial practices, manufacturing processes, and
professional work environments. Furthermore, the Electronic Science Society plays a key role in
fostering innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through technical fests, project
exhibitions, competitions, and student-centric activities. These events encourage students to
showcase their technical talents, creativity, and leadership abilities while promoting collaborative
learning. Through its diverse initiatives, the Society also contributes significantly to the holistic
development of students by nurturing technical excellence, professional ethics, and lifelong
learning, thereby preparing them to meet the challenges of the electronics industry and academia.
