The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences functions with the motto “Not Me, But You”, fostering the spirit of selfless service, social responsibility, and community engagement among students.
The NSS Unit regularly organizes awareness drives, cleanliness campaigns, tree plantation programs, blood donation camps, health check-up camps, and social outreach initiatives in nearby communities.
Through workshops, rallies, and interactive sessions, the unit promotes environmental sustainability, gender equality, health awareness, and civic responsibility.
By engaging students in meaningful social work, the NSS Unit strengthens leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills while instilling empathy and accountability.

Event 1: Cleanliness Drive

Brief Description: The NSS Cleanliness Drive promoted hygiene, environmental awareness, and community responsibility. Volunteers actively cleaned surroundings, spread awareness about sanitation, and inspired others to maintain a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.
Event 2: NSS Day (Awareness Drive)

Brief Description: On NSS Day 2025, the NSS BCAS Unit conducted an awareness drive in Palam Village regarding the PM Vidhya Lakshmi Scheme. Volunteers educated residents on collateral-free education loans and the 3% interest subvention, empowering rural students to pursue higher education through the unified digital portal.

Brief Description: To honor Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's anniversary, the NSS Unit participated in a spirited Padyatra at Kargil Chowk. Volunteers marched to promote national integration and the "Unity in Diversity" message.
Event 4: Viksit Bharat ke Rang Kala ke Sang

Brief Description: The NSS Unit showcased immense energy with 300+ student participants, celebrating India's progress through creative arts and highlighting youth contribution toward a developed India by 2047.
Event 5: 150th Year of Vande Matram Celebration

Brief Description: A patriotic program organized under NSS with around 150 students participating. Activities included songs, speeches, and cultural performances promoting unity and national pride.
Event 6: Old Age Home Visit
